Frequently asked questions
Can’t find your question? Book a consultation and we will answer you directly.
Do I need a Bosnian partner or employee to set up a company?
No. What you need is a registered office and an accountant, and we recommend someone to look after your company's affairs with limited authority.
What is the route to residency in Bosnia?
In short: you arrive in Bosnia, give a lawyer power of attorney, set up a company or get employed by one, then apply for residency and pay its fees. A spouse and children under 18 follow your residency.
How do I make sure a property is sound before buying?
We review the ZK extract, the cadastre, the building permit and that the seller has no tax liabilities. Reviewed properties carry the “Verified” seal, and those we visited and photographed show the visit date.
Why do some properties have no price?
Some owners prefer to share the price on request. Tap the WhatsApp button on the property page; your message reaches us with the property link and we reply with the price and details.
Can I see a property while I am outside Bosnia?
Yes. Many properties have a video and a 360° tour, and you can request a live video tour: we go to the property and walk you through it on a video call.
What does company formation from start to finish include?
A lawyer by power of attorney, the company set-up, an accountant and a registered office, handed over ready. Before agreeing with anyone, ask exactly which filings and visits the price covers.
Do procedures and fees change?
Yes, from time to time. That is why we send you the current details for your case when you ask, and every service comes with a contract and a receipt.
